We loved that song from the beginning when it was published! We haaaad to play that by any means. I (Lisa) played it for Daddy and also he liked it. Of course I instantly rushed to the computer and searched for the chords. That was end of 2005 when we studied those six songs which we also played at our birthday party in summer 2006 and which we recorded on a CD for our grandparents' birthdays. Goodbye my lover was one of them.
It was not too difficult to play (in those days I couldn't play that
well yet) and so all the other band members had studied their parts
fast too. At the concert we basically played the song in the same
arrangement as we did it in 2006 already, only better. I think that
we performed it very well, probably because it's such a great song!
Our concert
audience liked it very much too. We thank James Blunt for
creating such a brillant song!
