WOW - Our 1st OSCAR!

G'day!
Yes, exactly! We've got presented our first OSCAR - namely a "Music School OSCAR", so even better J
How we did achieve that? No, we did not corrupt somebody ... ha, ha.
As an
alert reader of our website ;) you certainly know that we've
participated in the "Prima La
Musica" Music Competition as a percussion ensemble together with
Thomas and Christoph.

But we
weren't the only ones from our music school who took part in that
contest. There were also students playing recorders, piano or
brass instruments. Everyone of us did great, very much to the honor of
our music school and our teachers. So for Orth/Donau Music School
this year's participation in the contest was a very successful one.

Therefore our music school principal Mr. Anton Wagnes together with his team decided to organize an OSCAR award dation at the Town Hall of Orth/Donau (River Danube).
We were welcomed by the Orth Mayor Mr. Johann Mayer and the Director of the regional bank Mr. Johannes Boeck. Both accented how important it would be to nurture kids and teens in making music and they finally thanked the teachers and parents for supporting their kids to such a rate.
In the end Mr. Wagnes announced that all of the Orth Music School participants attained such great success at "Prima La Musica" contest that he and his team created the Music School OSCAR which from now on will be awarded every year.
There also was a newspaper editor present. He was busy with taking pics
and so this event additionally received an article in the regional
press. The press pic is very similar to ours, so we don't show it
here. But we have filed the paper as a proof :).

Thus we became holders of two awesome trophies, the beautifully designed
and in glass engraved OSCARs. And that's what they look like:
Aren't they noble?
Hopefully not our last ones^^
