Radio oe1 campus broadcasts a MonaLisa-Interview with songs of our both CDs, where we talk about our work and the music.

Ahoi, guys!

Some day in December 2008 we had an important appointment after school: An interview with a radio station.

Of course, there is a back story to it: Some time ago we did a school project with oe1 campus students' radio (an Austrian radio station). For that purpose our class got divided in small groups. Each group should shine on one aspect of the "Roma and Sinti" ethnic groups and how they live.

Our group interviewed the well-known Austrian Gipsy musician Harri Stojka.

Catarina Pratter, the oe1 campus Radio editor then assembled all reports to one program which was broadcasted soon afterwards. In the course of this work Catarina heard about our own music, our family band and the CDs. She instantly offered us to make an extra program only with us - MonaLisa. And that's what we did on this said 15th December 2008.

We sat together in comfort and talked about how we would like to build up the program. We found it a good idea to do it as an interview that got interrupted resp. accentuated by some songs of our CDs. The specialty of this interview is that it was not Catarina who interviewd us but we did interview each other. We hope that it is (was) not too much confusing. We found it funny and exciting as we recorded everything only once and therefore better had not to stumble.

Catarina, we say thank you, that you put yourself out for us and gave us the possibility to publicly talk about our music and to play it on air. Of course we were very delighted with this opportunity!
