Hello everybody! I'm Lisa!

On this page I want to tell you a little bit about myself. If you don't know me that well yet you will be able to get an idea of who I am. Have fun while reading =)

Let's talk about my hobbies first ... they are many:

What a surprise  ... MUSIC! A life without music would be a sad and boring life without joy! I love my guitars, I love the drums and of course any other instrument!

My voice ... I sing everywhere and everytime. Friends once told me at the end of a joint day: "Now we know why you sing that well. You sing every free minute!" I love to listen to music and I like to play with our family band ...

Spring in Orth at the River Donau near Vienna

I love to be in nature, as long as I have a guitar with me (May 2008)

I love nature! I couldn't stand living in a big city. I need space!

In addition I am totally animal-loving. In the past we went riding regularly but we have less time for that now because of our music projects and school. (But I did not lose it as you can see in our "California Dreaming" video.) Earlier we had lots of pets: rabbits, budgies, mice, hamsters, fish, cats, even triops (dinosaur shrimp). I loved them all very much and I was very sad each time we had to give them away or when they died.

I am also very fond of drawing pictures and I think I am quite talented. To the left you can see my giraffes and down there, my tiger-picture (both acrylic on canvas). And some of my cartoons I'm doing en passant, you can see on this page.

Besides all that I'm a real bookworm! The thicker the books the better. If it is an exciting book, there is nothing better than reading the whole night long until my eyes hurt and I drop. Right now I am preferring fantasy novels.

From my love of books I discovered my talent to write. Some months ago I started to write a book which is reputed to be good (as other people told me). Unfortunately I don't have much time to go on with it, because I decided to spend my free time with making music. But for a poem every now and then it's still enough. And in the future I will let off steam by writing my own lyrics ;)

Lisa Wagner, skiing in Carinthia
New Years's Eve 2007/2008 with friends at Bad Kleinkirchheim, Carinthia

Furthermore I'm totally into skiing! Every year my family and I do spend our winter holidays in Salzburg, which is a state in western Austria. And this year we also celebrated New Year on some slopes in Carinthia. To go skiing is one of the few reasons to love winters ;)

Of course I love to do all the things other people like too: to spend time with my family and friends, to go shopping or to the movies, to sit in front of my computer, etc. etc. etc.

If there is something I like, then I mostly learn it fast!
I could write a long list but I also want to tell you a little bit about me and my nature:

I think I am a very bright and fun-loving girl that doesn't give in fast. I am brave and I'm always up for fun ... but only if it does not harm anybody. On the other side I'm quite chaotic and can't keep order very long. This causes me and others unnecessary work. In return I am sociable and love to be with other people or get known to new ones. I have my goals and I am ready to do a lot to achieve them. I have no problem with hard work but I prefer doing things with ease more than with too much seriousness. Thus things come off more easily.

My view on music

Recently my viewpoint on music has changed a lot. Earlier I listened to nearly everything and I was fine with most songs fast. I still do listen to many music styles but I mainly prefer the 60ies. Bands like the Beatles (!!!), the Who, Elvis, the Beach Boys but also songs by Pink Floyd, Ray Charles, ... that's the stuff that addresses me most. There was joy, creativity, instrumental skills - musicians had a message they communicated.

Meanwhile I can't stand radio anymore and that's a pity. I would like it to turn on the radio and feel better. But I prefer to turn on my mp3 player and hear the tunes I like.

To some degree one cannot call it music anymore and I definitely want to change that and do something demanding, more musical myself. Sure, that's not so easy but I'm only 14 J.

People saying that only this or that would be good music and the rest was rubbish should deal with other music styles too. I understand that each person prefers some style but I don't find it cool to say that everything else is nonsense!

I can hardly understand how it would be if I didn't like music. Life without music? Unthinkable! Life would only be half that exciting, don't you agree?

OK, I say goodbye to you for now and wish you a nice day! If you have some questions about my life, just write!

Kiss, Lisa
