Hello everybody! I'm Lisa!

On this page I want to tell you a little bit about myself. If you don't know me that well yet you will be able to get an idea of who I am. Have fun while reading =)

Let's talk about my hobbies first ... they are many:

Who'd have thought that? ... MUSIC! A life without music would be a sad and boring life without joy! I love my guitar, I love the drums and of course any other instrument!

My voice ... I sing anywhere and anytime. Friends once told me at the end of a joint day: "Now we know why you sing that well. You sing every free minute!" I love to listen to music and I like to play with our family band ...

What to write into the mountain top book? (May 2005)

I love animals and nature and one of my other favourite hobbies is riding horses.

Aren't they sweet - my giraffes?

I am also very fond of drawing pictures and I think I am quite talented. To the left you can see my giraffes and down there, my tiger-picture (both acrylic on canvas).

Besides all that I'm a real bookworm! The thicker the books the better. I love to lie in bed in the evening, reading the one or other hour before I go to sleep. Right now I am preferring fantasy novels.

From my love of books I discovered my talent to write. Some months ago I started to write a book which is reputed to be good (as other people told me). Unfortunately I don't have much time to go on with it, because I decided to spend my free time with making music. But for a poem every now and then it's still enough.

Lisa Wagner, skiing in Carinthia
New Years's Eve 2007/2008 with friends at Bad Kleinkirchheim, Carinthia

Furthermore I'm totally into skiing! Every year my family and I do spend our winter holidays in Salzburg, which is a state in western Austria. In some years we have a school skiing course in addition. And this year we also celebrated New Year on some slopes in Carinthia. To go skiing is one of the few reasons to love winters ;)

Anyway I like to spend time with my family and my friends no matter what we are doing!

There are so many things I love to do. And if there is something I like, then I mostly manage to learn it fast! I could write a long list but I also want to tell you a little bit about me and my nature:

I think I am a very bright and fun-loving girl that doesn't give in fast. I am brave and I'm always up for fun ... but only if it does not harm anybody. On the other side I'm quite chaotic and can't keep order very long. This causes me and others unnecessary work. In return I am sociable and love to be with other people or get known to new ones. I have my goals and I am ready to do a lot to achieve them. I have no problem with hard work but I prefer doing things with ease more than with too much seriousness. Thus things come off more easily.

My view on music

If someone asked me about my favourite music or singer/band, who my inspiring example would be, what kind of music I'd prefer, ... I couldn't tell him a single name. I listen to nearly any kind of music and also various kinds of music styles. Most of the time I don't fit in the common music taste. For my liking the most time the (Austrian) radio stations broadcast junk. Thank God there have come up some nice songs lately.

I also like many old songs, e.g. the Beatles; I just find them brilliant! They produced "real" music. They were knowledgeable in this field and they wrote their songs themselves. From today's music I like Red Hot Chilly Peppers or the song "Bubbly" (Colbie Caillat). James Blunt is a good songwriter, and I also like Amy Winehouse's voice and kind of music. I could compile a long list but I think you know what I mean.

They are all people who create their own music. I think that more and more musicians start to make "real music" again. Sometimes less is more ;)

I don't like people saying that only one music style is OK and the rest is "trash". Perhaps I did say it myself some time, but I have learned to listen and study music. E. g. if you never have gotten your teeth into a special music style you probably would be tempted to say: " Everything sounds the same!" But if you are ready to engage yourself in it you will find the differences and enjoy them.

I can hardly comprehend how it would be if I didn't like music. Life without music? Unthinkable! Life would only be half that exciting, don't you agree?

OK, I say goodbye to you for now and wish you a nice day! If you have some questions about my "little" life, just write!

Kiss, Lisa
