Home > Portrait Mona

Hi there, here's Mona!

Welcome to my totally private page! For the purpose of simplicity I placed a short profile on the bottom of this page. My hobbies are rather clear: Making and listening to music always has been something very nice to me.

I'm very lucky to have a father and a step-mother who support me very much in this direction. And also the rest of my family and my music teachers have helped me a lot to achieve the skills I have today. But you can read more about this on the related pages of this website.

However: music always meant the world to me - I don't know what I'd have done except music. Later I want to choose music as my future profession whereat it's not about becoming famous at all.

Some kids say: "You will be a very star some day!". Then I use to reply: " For me it's about making good music that touches people, about music they would like. It's not about getting famous. If one writes good music he automatically will become a celebrity." That's my opinion about "being famous". J

Eric Papilaya! (Starmania, 3rd show)
No it's no fatamorgana: It is Eric Papilaya! (Austria's "Starmania" 3rd show - Spring 2007)

Basically I listen to nearly every kind of music ... probably except operatic and classical music. But I find that there are good songs in every music style. Only the songs broadcasted on the radios most of the time are very onesided, without much diversity. There is so much good music existing on this planet but they mostly feed us with the same junk. Whereas I have to admit that I also listen to the charts from time to time. You anyway can't escape them as a public school pupil.

At times of the last Starmania-Show (Austrian's equivalent to shows like "America's got talent") I was a fan of Rick Papilaya. Unfortunately he did not reach the finale. But shortly after that we met him during our school skiing course in Carinthia (South of Austria) where he was on a promotion tour. And I managed to get a photo with him!!!

Mona Wagner on Tagada, Viennese "Prater"
Tagada-Riding is one of my favourite attractions of the Viennese amusement park "Prater".

But besides music I have tons of other hobbies, of course. I have always been a "wild child" and I love nature, especially animals ;) I have been going horseriding for 5 years now and at home I have mice and a budgie.

Besides all that I just like things that every 13 year old girl likes to do. Of course, I like to go shopping with friends or watching a good movie at the cinema. I also love to spend hours in front of my computer or in bed (reading books or just snoozing).

May I introduce: me (left), Sponge Bob (middle), my sister Lisa (right) at Universal Studios, Hollywood, Summer 2007.

You can see that I'm also fond of drawing - for example, here's my "howling wolf"  (acryl on canvas)  J.

The "howling wolf" was my Christmas Present 2007 to my best friend Lina.

After all I'm interested in anything creative! And that's exactly what is being encouraged in our school. Lisa and I attend the 8th grade of Polgarstreet Junior Highschool in Vienna. In this school especially sports and music is promoted very much. I am very proud of our super successful soccer and volleyball teams! J

But we also have very good musicians due to our fantastic music teachers. If you want to see them, just go to music teachers where we will introduce them to you.

And now I want to say a big Thank you to all my friends and "fans": Thank you guys, you all are great!

Mona's  Profile

Name: Mona Wagner
Born: Yes, on 16 June 1994
Education: 8th grade of Polgarstreet Junior Highschool /Vienna.
Career Aspiration: Musician
Instruments: Drums, Percussion, Guitar, my voice
Hobbies: making music, listening to music, composing/songwriting, meeting friends, moovies, horseriding, skiing, reading, drawing, computers, sports, being in America

Inspiring examples: For me the Beatles are the best example of people who have moved crowds with their music. Wether you like their music or not: Such people are heroes as they have accomplished the "Unimpossible"! Or take Elvis: His death had hit thousands of people who all loved his music. But that I admire such people does not mean that I approve of their way of life: Drugs and alcohol are dangerous stuff and destroy everything - no matter who is taking them!
