Mona and I didn't know the song in the beginning. But our Dad always liked it and so he once sang it to me during a car drive. I think I was 8 then. Right now I remember that Daddy and I had sang the song in two voices then. When we returned back home we sang our version to Mona and she immediately liked it.
Last summer we bought our Dad a Beatles Guitar Book for father's day. Among others, also Michelle was in there, and that was the point when we all knew that we would play it at our concert. We worked on the 3-voiced choir for quite a while, but it was worth it. Our audience was totally delighted by that song, even our classmates who didn't even know the song, were totally enthusiastic. We were quite surprised but also happy. At this point we want to thank Steffi, Nadine and Jenny who helped putting the audience in such great humor at the second concert! You were fantastic!
