To us our musical and financial independence
is more important than making fast
money. Furthermore we
don't want to leave the greater part of the money to
the record companies.

We like to be "real" musicians
in the old fashioned way.
We want to learn to play our instruments
really well,
perform live, work on our CDs and
music videos
and become
better and better.

This is probably different to each person and has no fixed price

Anyone can listen to our music
and should be able to contribute if he wants to.
6 Perhaps you don't like our kind of
music, but you like what we
stand for and how we make things go right without selling our
souls to whoever. You would not buy our CD but place some
money in our (virtual) guitar case.
7 You will not be degraded to a pure
consumer but can help to
shape the music scene and culture you'd like to have in the
future.
8 It's a matter of trust and we like
to trust in people like they can
trust in us.
9 For us it's a valuable indicator
how much you like our music and
what we have to improve.

You see, it's a very direct approach,
uncomplicated and fun
for both parts. ¯And that's the way (aha,
aha) we like it - ¯yeah!
In fact you can look at this idea as something very "old". Long before record companies, publishers, managers, lawyers, promoters and all the additional "industries" entered the scene, artists got supported by emperors, patrons or by the public directly. As wealthy emperors and kings are either hard to find or too stingy these days, artists mainly depend on you, the public.
Give what you think is adequate and we'll be happy. (Hope,
you're not the stingy king ;-) )
How do you do that when there's no
guitar case to
place the tip?
Ha! We found some ways. You know, the Internet is a great new way to distribute our music and visual art. So it should also be a great new way to get something in return. Please remember that when you download or listen to one of our songs/lyrics or watch one of our videos. It took a lot of effort, time and money to make it and we made it as well as we could.
If you like it, please leave a little something. And it really
doesn’t matter how small it is. Just to let us know!
No wonder the Beatles sang this song: Money is the most handy and flexible help you can
offer to somebody. Though it sometimes has a bad reputation of
making people greedy we think that has little to do with money
itself, but more with the darker side of human nature. Like it or
not, we "love" money because it transforms so smoothly into
beautifully sounding new guitars, valuable music lessons or even
fuel to drive to our next concert.

spoils the character, ha ha ha) you can support us in another way. This can be

We already got some great tips on video making,
web design, getting gigs, playing techniques on the guitar or ways
how to promote our band or network with other people.
That can be as simple as telling your neighbor
about us or as complex as a full feature on 10 TV stations ;).
E.g. people forward our website-links to friends or they subscribe
in our YouTube-Channel, write comments, place our links on their own
website, organize us a gig, found a MonaLisa fan-club, create a
MonaLisa-forum, ... whatever, there are no limits.

Just joking BUT: In our videos or on this webpage our instruments and other equipment are visible to the public. It could be your logo that flashes up. And we always will have some advertising space either on our website or on our instruments. Even the videos might have a little space where your name could appear.
Of course that's not reserved for music industry giants only, but also for rather small companies like Coca Cola or Nike ;).
